Used to be my go to torta place, but it has lost a little bit of quality and love in the sandwiches. Prices are pretty high. Expect to spend $20 on a sandwich and drink, the sandwich is very big though.
Great owners the food here is also banging. Must visit in denver when you are just looking for good food. Hard to find in this city...
Ate at the food truck. The price was definitely worth it. Huge sandwich was delicious. Seriously they don't mess around and aren't skimpy on May of the meat or any toppings.
Great service, food made right in front of you and great atmosphere. Was not a fan of the chocolate flan or their flan. A little too much like flan flavored cake. Sandwiches are huge. Could easily be shared by 2 people. Bathroom was a mess.
Yes! Everything about this sandwich spot was a yes, except for maybe the wait time, but boy are these worth the wait! The environment is busy and smells amazing. You know it's good when it's busy. You really can't go wrong with any selection. Would 100% go back time and again. The only missing this is maybe some interesting side dishes.
Favorite place to get tortas, they have a huge selection too! My favorites are the Abondonada y Chilanga. Most of the times we go it's been good quality & nice service. Once my torta was falling apart because the bread was soggy & was unevenly cut so the insides were falling apart... but we still went back after cuz it smacked still LOL (btw after reading the other reviews it helps to know Spanish... I suggest learning at least how to order in Spanish & maybe the service will be better since they might be more comfortable in their own language... never hurts to try)
Tortugas is always delicious! I ordered the chicken and avocado torta with jalapeños ....their fresh waters are also mouth watering. The only downside is little parking space in a busy street but other than that great place for lunch or dinner! Highly recommend eating here at least once.
